Greedy it may be, but the AC casinos sure make a lot more money from gamblers than they do from chip sales. This is also true for MOST vegas casinos. On the other hand, chip sales are a much more "income generating" process for the Colorado casinos than anywhere else. Why is it I can condemn the AC casinos issuance of high denom. chips but you never condemn the practice of Colorado casinos issuance of high denoms.?? At least in AC, 'BLACK' and 'GREEN' action
is allowed! With a $5 max bet, a $25 or $100 in Colorado is a 'color-up' chip at best and not really needed......except for a collector maybe???????
