Larry; I've received a few email responses to this thread... even one from a printer by profession. His opinion is that it's an albino error. The base material under the graphics is white and evidently didn't get printed on the second color pass. As you can see, the edge inserts, which are applied in a separate process, are the same color that the background and letters should have been. Interesting piece. Think it's "rare"?? <g> Still have not heard from anyone who has seen a similar chip.
