Yep. Everyone paid $150 each (collectors and
dealers) and they were very happy, too....and
though I have no control of what other chips may
have sold/"traded" at, I know that the dealers and
collectors I sold to would never lower the price
below $150. It's a good feeling when working with
those who have their act together....wouldn't you
say? <g> Glad I only have three left, too.
As everyone knows, these roulettes were part of a
collection of some 200 Atlantic City chips belonging
to a fellow living in Florida (and some of them were
what YOU would call "rare"). He made a trip to AC
hoping to "cash in" the chips, and after visiting
"seven" casinos and talking to more than 12-people
in casinos and shops on the boardwalk...he was
offered no more than "face" for each chip (some
$25's and only one $100 chip. Some
chips booked at over $1000 each, while most of the
others were in the $300-$500 range (those who
purchased the inventory from me (mostly all gone)
know the whole story and all the facts). Anyway, to
make a long story short: Someone in AC gave him my
card and I received a phone call from him. I try my
best to protect the market, those who purchase from
me...and ME.
