Greg's theory was an error printing the inlay. (Unless, of course, he's revised that too by now <g>.) Now I'm very interested in Paul-Son's manufacturing process. For the same error to appear on both sides of the same chip, wouldn't it have to occur on two different sheets of inlays at two different times, and be incredibly unlikely to both be on the same chip? Greg, does the reverse of your chip have the same error as shown in your scan? Maybe what we're looking at here is a sample chip, where the colors were changed before the actual run.
