I discovered recently that some web sites that provide disk storage for users block links from other web pages. Some eBay auctions have pictures that don't display, but if you put the URL into the "Location:" box of your browser, you can see the pic. This seems to be true for both my Netscape v4.7 and Internet Explorer v5. browsers.
The easy way to get the URL is to 'right click' on the broken-box icon you want to see and select 'Copy Image Location'. You can then position your cursor in the Location box and press 'Cntl-V' to paste the URL.
May help you see some images that you might otherwise miss. You might also want to check that whatever service stores YOUR images for you allows free access to them. The example I had today was a seller using a WEBTV storage site.
Maybe Greg knows some other way to overcome this difficulty, or can explain why the work-around works?
