Wow, that is a very cool page.
However, one test probably does not tell the story.
I connect through the wonderful AOL provider with a 56K modem.
I tested my speed and got a disappointing 21.3kbps.
I then hit back 3 more times and got these readings in this order in about 1 second time spans: 42.9, 37.2, 35.5.
So apparently it varies tremendously in a very short time (at least on AOL).
