It's possible to get money orders in US funds in most foriegn countries, but if the bank that issues the MO doesn't have a physical presence, i.e., a branch bank in the US that is shown on the MO, your bank will charge you a proccessing fee to deposit or cash it. My bank charges $15 for this service, even on postal MO's from Canada, and even if they are US dollars.
