I was ruminating on such weighty matters as chip rarity on my way in to work on the train and a question arose in my mind. What is the most "common" current chip? (by which I mean in total number existing) I assume it would be a current dollar chip from one of the Las Vegas casinos? Perhaps some of our insiders know how many chips were purchased by the larger LV casinos? I guess the dollar chips still exist in the largest quantities in most casinos or has inflation pushed that honor up the $5? Or does it vary with the places catering to "high-rollers" having less $1 chips than other casinos? Anyone know what the typical breakdown of chips in various denominations is?
