Archie,
Some people who deal in collectibles are deliberate liars and misrepresent what they are selling. Bust their butts everyway that you can!
Some people who deal in collectibles use terms to describe the item that aren't accurate in the view of most authorities on that type of item. Inform them and their potential customers in the way you are doing, as many of us are or have done.
Fighting misrepresentation of casino chips was a fight that I was involved in last year with Mark Pugh. I listed fake chips that he called rare in a featured eBay auction with my final message in the lot description saying "don't bid more than $10 for these chips" That fight was an energy vampire for me. It sucked all of the energy out of me when I got home from work to logon and saw little or no support. I had little support during that fight, yourself not acknowledging that I had the guy read right until he started impersonating myself and Jim Reilly in BB posts.
I sometimes throw my hands over my head wondering WHERE some of the loudest critics of misrepresentation on eBay now WERE then.
