"If you wish to voice your opinion about those on ebay who use the term "rare" in their descriptions I really can't disagree with you. However, Archie there a solution for YOU since it bothers you so - don't look at ebay! Once you master your self-control involving this area you will be less frustrated than most" ..... James L. Perlowski, January 11, 2000
Jim; With all due respect to a veteran knowlegeable chipper such as yourself, your solution offered is NO solution at all. To stick one's head in the sand and make believe a problem does not exist is foolhardy. Yes, I do sell on ebay, but nothing "rare". I just began experimenting only a few weeks ago.
Your logic reminds me of another time not too long ago that you will recall Jim; when I was NOT on-line, and was being heavily criticized and labeled in some quarters as being a "dinosaur" by not keeping up with current technology. Jim; ebay is here. Millions of Americans and citizens around the world are using this new technology for their hobby pursuits. In case you haven't read the front page headlines in today's newspapers; AOL and Time Warner have announced a 162B (that's "B" as in Billion) record corporate merger. Ebay; or similar type e-services, are going to expand dramatically in the not too distant future. YOU may choose to ignore this fact and advise chippers "don't look at ebay" thereby mastering some kind of self-control over their frustrations; as you termed it.
I say "balderdash"! Get real Jim!
