What you might view as vague descriptions appear to be the result of accepting grading done with coins. There have been several very long threads about grading chips and tokens in the same way, and you don't want to go there. A lot of chip and token collectors have switched to these collectibles because of coin grading practices. Trying to force a similar system on this community has been underway for close to a year. It won't happen. Chips and tokens can be cleaned without losing value. That can't be done with coins, and that's just one reason that grading will not happen with chips. ...or at least as long as I'm collecting them!
