Archie, although I might be wrong, I don't think John meant this to compete with the COTY awards, whereas any sort of recognition would be awarded. Just a few opinions (not santioned by the club.)

Although, you may wish to incorporate this idea in with the COTY contest and award a seperate trophy in the millennium catagory. Taking it one step further might be a great idea in itself.

Have there been millennium chips issued in countries other than the U.S. and cruise ships? Personally, at the moment, I think we should limited it to Las Vegas or at Least Nevada and possibly Colorado.

Seems to me (at least according to my checkbook) that more millennium chips were released last year than all the other chips combined for the entire year.
