Mike; You have raised a good question. A lot of suggestions are made on this bb in a general way, but no specifics as to who would keep the records, tally the results, provide the illustrations, and announce the winner. Why would this contest not be open to chips issued from around the world... not just the U.S.? Who would bestow the recognition honors on the winning chip and notify the casino that issued it? Is this contest suggestion directed towards the club? If so, I've not read that anywhere in this thread so far, but if that is the intent the proposal should be posted on the club bb with an official request to a specific club officer ... not here, where it is simply like spitting into the wind.... unless someone reading this post picks up the chipball (so to speak) and runs with it. Just one chipper's opinion.
