I have two of the sample chips from this series in my collection. I got them at Our Chip Conventiom on June 20, 1997. A couple of guys were walking around the convention floor giving out the Sample chips and some literature on the football cards. My two chips have red rims with "sample" on the back as shown in your scan. The two playewrs are Antonio Freeman of the Packers white center with purple ring and Terry Allen white center with green ring.
