We went to the new Lakeside Casino in Osceola, Iowa this afternoon, less than 24 hours after they opened. Lots of construction going on, but they were in full swing, including the restaurant and the hotel. In the casino, there were long lines at the cashier where they said they ran out of cash and so could not cash in tokens and chips. They were however delighted to sell us anything we wanted.

We have everything in stock at $8.50 for 5's, $6 for 2.50's, and $3 for 1's, minus 10% and plus shipping and handling. We are getting the Lady Luck Bettendorf anniversary chip Tuesday, the rest of the IN Trump series Wed and hope to get Tunica and Biloxi new items by the end of the week. Vicksburg, Shreveport and Coushatta will be in about 2 weeks.

As a point of curiosity, my mother, from Shendoah Iowa and my father from Providence R I met in the late 1920's at Graceland College (the church college), a few miles south of Osceola. Now what is a good church boy like me doing hanging around casinos?
