I've noticed that Microsoft IE seems to be much better at "deciding" what to display when it comes across things that aren't "by the book". I've found many times in my html coding that I'd leave off a tag here or there and IE displays it just fine, while Netscape would just ignore the WHOLE PAGE and show a blank screen. That is one of the reasons I switched to IE.
