This transition is the single transition that will occur within our lifetimes that is shared by all off us currently occupying this planet. Why not celebrate it now, when the accepted calender rolls over from 1999 to 2000?!? ...and every media outlet, vacation package, year long chip series (except for one) points to or acknowledges the new millennium as starting at midnight (now past here, happy 2000!)
