What the hell is "the year from 0 to 1"? When was the current year 1999? At the start of the year? At the end of the year? How about ALL YEAR LONG! A year is a year. Money flows continously when you hit three triple-bars on the slot machine. If it doesn't spit out that last coin, you haven't been paid your win. You've been short changed. By this bozo's reconning, you are one year old the moment after your born. NOT! Count a year. One year old. Count 2000 years. Two millenniums old. At the END of the 2000th year. Ask the Reno Hilton. They know how to count. They plan to spend next year counting down to the new millennium.

All this fantasizing about year zero. A year is a thing. A UNIT of time. Show me where you count things with the first one counted as zero. I say we all go to the Fiesta with forks in hand and just see if Gene's done yet! <g>
