I have seen chip dealers that bought "FIRE SALE" collections at 90% face. If a dealer smells smoke, what do you think he will do? I am talking about mostly current house chips and LE's.

If you take the time to sell it right, it will bring a premium. I don't know what Allan Borenstein is getting, but I see him selling off areas of his collection on ebay. Ask him.

Premium chips will always bring premium prices. BUT, less in a fire sale.
