I suppose if this happened somewhere else, I and many of my customers could boycott the chip. The unfortunate fact is that many of us Colorado collectors are caught up in having a complete or near complete collection of Colorado chips. I'm afraid the casinos either know this or sense it. I want to boycott, but don't want a big hole in my collection. I estimate there are about 50 complete $1/$2.50/$5 Colorado collections and 5 complete 1/$2.50/$5/$25/$100 collections. There are a couple of hundred near complete collections. We are victims of our love for this hobby.

In my next Colorado guide, I will attempt to identify all chips that were sold over face by the casinos. This may help some of us in our quest to define a complete collection as chips sold and redeemed at face.
