Rates are certainly falling like a rock. In April we booked and prepaid for six nights from 12/27 - 1/2. The total cost was $2517, non-refundable. With rates falling I decided this week to call the hotel manager. He wasn't the least bit receptive to refunding any money. He did suggest I talk with the Reservations Yield Manager. I talked with her and explained I thought we needed to make some adjustments. After she got through she refunded the $2517 and re-booked the six nights for $610. Needless to say she received a very large bouquet of flowers the next day. Like she said if you don't ask they are not going to offer refunds.
