It seems to me that by eBay standards, it's wrong. Can't blame them for wanting to protect their commissions. EBay states it can't protect purchases outside their bidding systems. Can they really protect buyers/sellers within their system? Will they replace product or refund transaction money when a sale goes bad or lost in the mail? I don't think so.
For now, the internet is a public forum, so Let the Buyer Beware.
