Jim; I'm happy to see that some ebay sellers are obviously cleaning up their act. Could it be that peer pressure has finally gotten to some of these otherwise fine well-meaning folks who are over-hyping their "rare" ebay offerings? If so; good for the participants in this bb exchange who brought about the change. Hope the peer pressure is maintained. I don't think that inserting the use of the word "rare" into these ads result in increased attention to the bulk of these common lots that were being offered. With few exceptions, most still sell for what they are worth..... way, way less than a fraction of "rare" prices. So my advice is to drop the overused "R" word and be more factual with auction descriptions... not only on ebay, but elsewhere as well.
