The Bud Jones coin Inlay chips came from a day cruise ship operating out of Biloxi, Ms. About 1988 to 1991. When dockside gaming was approved, the ship moved to Galveston. It also operated out of New Orleans at some point between 1980 and 1991.
Wally Taranto had the table game concession on the ship. Wally is a long time Vegas casino man. He was also involved with MS and LA illegal clubs as you will see in a future post. There is also a $1 chip that is in Mark and Bob's Fl book. The $1 chip is still being used on a ship out of the Carolinas, I think. Wally sold off the $1 chips when he took over and replaced them with tokens. Bob Ginsberg had not seen these chips before.
When the ship moved to Galveston Wally took the coin inlays off the ship. Wally has been a friend for many years. I am making the chips available to collectors for Wally. There are not many of the $100 chip when compared to the $5 and $25. I hope to have a full count soon.
$25 for the set of 3 chips, postage included.
