MELLOW OUT FOLKS! While I agree that the term RARE is misused by Dean Clark on nearly all his auctions (by OUR standards), Dean will not change. He has been advised, ad infinatum, about this particular subject. His definition of rare isdifferent than ours, and in the absence of any defined standard, not necessarily unethical.
On the other hand, look at the prices he has gotten on all his auctions. HE IS NOT FOOLING ANYONE. I have bought several chips from him, usually at 60-80% TCR.
I have also bought a number of chips from Fran Betker, and quite frankly, I do not believe the term RARE is misused by this individual.
I have never had a reason to disappointed in either the chips or the service from either of these individuals.
