Neither Eastman nor Jung-Pfaender lists any chips from the Elks Lodge.
Eastman has no listing for Far East; Jung-Pfaender lists two chips, but attributes them to Bakersfield.
Which pretty much sums up the current state of knowledge of old California chips <g>.
BTW, there are several very active cardrooms NEAR Oakland these days (Emeryville and San Pablo), but none in Oakland. ----- jim o\-S
