Brian; Sorry if I've placed an uncomfortable burr under your saddle podner. My whole point is that the term "rare" is being overutilized by many chippers.... both by new and inexperienced ones... and by those who should know better. If you feel that many of those 83 lots of chips offered and described on ebay as being "rare" really are ... then who am I to say your opinion is wrong? I can only express MY opinion. You're entitiled to yours. The purpose of this bulletin board is to be used as a forum for an exchange of ideas and opinions. I don't know that it is to "foster a kinder and gentler" bb. Sometimes in these controversial frank and open discussions there is bound to be some folks who take exception to what another person has to say. One thing is for certain; if you ask a question (such as you have) ... be prepared to get a response. I don't recall that anyone ever told anyone else to "shut up" because they didn't agree with a particular post.... (now that I think of it, I do recall one about a year or so back) and I certainly wouldn't suggest that to you, or anyone else who has an opposing viewpoint.
