Pete, The Crest and Seal-type was in production for many year, and I doubt if all the inlays were printed the same way for all those years. All we are saying is that we find truth in the distributor ads as to how these chips were made. I'm quite sure many litho inlays were simply just printed as they have been since the 40s, and not on the inside of the clear inlay.
