Re: According to Mason, Greg's M&N is a C&

Tough, tough question, Rich....and this is why I posted what I did, so we can all learn. If I answered your question with "yes" then I would not be able to classify this Cal-Neva Roulette seen below or the Floridian chips as Crest and Seal. If I said "no" to your question, then we may as well call every chip with an inlay (and do we just stop with litho inlays?) a Crest and Seal. Thus my incorporation of the key word "type" in my above post. As I've mentioned long ago, if we were to try to figure out what every chip distributor meant by Crest and Seal, Crest "OR" Seal or Seal and Crest (all documented terms)...we would then be asking ourselves: What's a "CREST" and is the "SEAL" really what we think it is? I believe the use of the word "type" will bring us to a mutual understanding of what a "Grest and Seal-type" chip is and is not. USPC kind of spells it out in their old ads as seen in Allan's article. I've taken old, worn down Cuban Gran Casino C&S chips apart and found that the graphics were printed in reverse on the "insde" (back) of the inlay. My reason for doing this was because the chip's inlay was so worn (and popped) that the edge of the slug was much less than its original thickness with the graphics being untouched...and it was just like the ad said. I do know that Q/C chip you show is NOT a Crest and Seal...and it's also a Nylon-type material.
I have the "coach" in red if you need it. You can balance the trade down the road, somewhere.
