Jim; I guess an explanation of the five-miunte rule would be appropriate here for the purposes of discussion. My interpretation, or understanding, is that after a period of NO BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THE PUBLISHED DEADLINE FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE CONSECUTIVE MINUTES... the sale would then be concluded. This would give the snipers plenty of opporunity to get their bids in. What is your impression of the "one-hour rule"?
