I think you would like a description of my Golden nugget chip?
Lets see...The chip is mostly white with four orange stripe marks on the
outer rim, the golden nugget is stamped into the outer rim & the $1 is on
the chip two times in between Golden & Nugget. The center piece Has written in
gold GOLEN NUGGET in a circle w/ a big $1 in the middle..... Hope to find
out how to get my pix on ebay soon.. If ya have any more questions for me, feel

The chip is Black's # GOL-1. I wrote back to suggest that the seller include either a scan (which he obviously can't do yet) or a detailed description. Also advised him that the generally accepted terminology is "obsolete" rather than "non-existent" <g>.
I think this is just an unsophisticated seller who didn't know how to properly express himself in the context of our hobby. And, while the chip might not be rare, Archie does list it at $20 -- the opening bid is half of that.
