Counting from zero, he would begin his 21st year as a 20 year old, remain so for the entire year. Counting from zero, he would begin his 20th year as a 19 year old. Counting from zero, he would begin his 2000th year as a 1999 year old, a new millennium beginning on that birthday.

A zero year is something that historians don't seem to want to agree on, and given that the guys that started this whole system of tracking time have been dead for centuries, I don't know what day it is. I know what day I think it is, and as long as I can make a good guess at that, I'm fat and happy! ;-)
