Correction here. The dry lake bed in not in Henderson, but in Boulder City. On the south end of the lake bed are three power distrubution stations for the city of LA and a new power generating station converting natural gas to electricity. It is almost ready to go on line and will be a "must-see" attraction for Vegas visitors.
