A perfect example backing yours and my thinking
regarding shipping addresses on order cards, and
what Allan Myers noted regarding quantities stated
and assuming they were for a home game would be the
SA/100 [Sam April] chips. My box of 100 display
years of play with rounded edges and grunge buildup
not normally found on chips used for home use and
being of a recent vintage. After studying the USPC
files for the past 6-years, I can safely say that it
would be improbable for some of the
addresses depicted in those files to have been part
of any organized gaming by using as many as six to
eight different design/monogrammed/numbered chips
where dates of shipment fall within just a few
years.
Summary: Shipping locations and quantities noted
should not solely determine use and location of
gaming.
