I have an old (appears to be anyway) casino cheque that was given to me by my grandfather when I was very young. I have collected casino chips off/on for a while now and just re-discovered this one. I have no idea how old it is or where it's from and was hoping that someone here might help me identify it. It is rectangular and appears to be made of wax or have a wax-type coating. It is 3.25" wide, 2.5" high & .25" thick. Across the top it says "SOCIETE DES BAINS DE MER" in the middle in much larger print it has 10,000 then on the bottom it says MONACO. In the lower right hand corner it has the number 1723. Both sides are mirror images of each other. Any/all help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
