Hi Jim,
Well I couldn't take it any more!
Saturday I went and purchased a copy of the Movie "Licensed to Kill".
In the opening segments of the film you are shown a roulette table with chips which look similar to those which are sold on e-bay. Similar but "DEFINATELY" not alike. And only in the opening credit segment do you see any traditional casino chips. In the Casino scene Bond is using $10,000 plaques.
The main chip shown is a $10 chip. Where are these in relation to the "SETS" that are being sold on E-Bay.
All the chips that are visible DO NOT have the same "CENTER INLAY" as the ones depicted on E-Bay. The centers of the ones on E-Bay are all "ROUND". The center inserts in the movie are exactly like the Bordertown chip I have depicted here. "HUB" as described in the chip rack.
How anyone who can see the obvious difference in the chips in the movie and these Paul-son remakes can authenticate them is missing something. The chips are definitely different that those pictured in the movie.
And the $10 chip is not in the set!
If I ever get that Win/TV card installed in my computer someday, I'll grab a frame and post a copy of the $10 chip here.
