The Riverboat in downtown Reno closed today after attempts to find investors failed. This closing follows the demise of the Holiday, Nevada Club and Harolds Club.
I was in Reno a couple of weeks ago and the town was dead on a Wednesday night. The only real action was at the Silver Legacy. I was back there again on Saturday night and the town was jumping. But I guess the casinos can't survive on just weekend business.
