Bob; I don't know what your hidden agenda is, or why you are so hell-bent on trying to smear some good folks names.... but by your own self description of yourself in your post dated 11:05 11/17/99 you defined yourself as a "trouble-maker who deals in the truth about matters that others wish to keep secret". I guess many of us can now agree with the first portion of that description, but we question the "dealing in truth" portion. Once again you have planted your head firmly in your "sphincter" that you also mentioned in that same post. You also stated in big bold letters in that same post that got you a lot of attention from suckers drawn in to your rhetoric, "WE ARE TALKING ABOUT OUR HOBBY". WRONG Bob! We are talking about a business transaction between an individual who is not in the best of health, who has offered to sell portions of his collection to folks of his choice.... which again, is nobody's business but the participants involved.

You claimed "foul" to have been slammed during a thread regarding a different subject last week, but you seem to have no problems doing some of your own more serious slamming toward others in an attempt to discredit tham. As for secrets being kept ... maybe this would be a good time to divulge who your "deep throat" whom is providing you with half-truths and false innuendoes to run with, whose obvious goal is to do as much damage as possible to a thriving organization. Your constant cynical attitude about the club surely does not offer any confidence to new club members who are entering the hobby to see what it is all about and read your outrageous unfounded claims. The fact of the matter is that David, Barry and Nate were NOT club officers during this Wednesday eve. early bird welcome that you seem to imply it was mandatory for them to attend. The fact is, they were not sworn into office and didn't take their elected seats as club officers until Thursday night during the annual public meeting.

So in closing "trouble-maker who deals in the truth" I would suggest that you check your facts very thoroughly before making your next bunch of unfounded charges so as not to "hurt new collectors".... a nice sounding phrase that you also managed to insert in your 11/17 post. Are you campaigning for office Bob? If so, I would further suggest that you seek out a different campaign manager than the one who is feeding you so much poison. The next election isn't until 2001. For those who don't like the current officers, don't vote for them next time around.... but at least allow them the courtesy of performing their jobs until then... even if you disagree with their methods.
