Can't resist putting up my two chips worth into this thread. A dollar figure for what Jerry Wall received for his remaining chips is meaningless unless a detailed inventory of what was purchased is also provided. So in my very humble opinion, "the number" he received has no bearing on what someone else's collection is now worth. If Jerry received $1 million for his "collection" should not be be publicly disclosed simply for the tax implications alone.... which makes it none of anybody's business again. I know some of you are hung up with what other people may or may not know... but I don't understand all this need to know of other people's business. What should be more interesting is what these chips in the new owners hands will be selling for.... and that should be easy to find out. Just stop at the dealer's table who will be offering them for sale and ask how much is he asking. Simple, NO?
