Thanks for the great responses. I undertand that Borland purchased the mold from Bud Jones and reproduced a few chips with inlays and hot stamps.

I've got a few of these Nevada molds which look like the clay used on Christy Jones chips. Now were the original makers of this chip made when Christy & Jones were together and then Bud Jones purchased the mold? Or did Bud Jones use the same clay? I've got a Nevada Club Chip starter chip from Doug Saito which looks like the same high quality C&J chips.

I guess the question is, did C&J own the mold first?
