Re: lesson learned E-bay police
In Response To: lesson learned E-bay police ()

I hate to say this, Don, but when I see an auction for a current $25 LE with an opening bid of $31.99, described as "This chips are in mint condition," I would have to have some sane email with the seller before I'd ever bid expecting 2 chips. My first reaction is this person is language challenged. Ebay should be alerted. A seller needs a modicum of English gramatical propriety to post an auction in English. As I have said many times, failure to communicate in a reasonable manner via email is poor form for an eBay seller. But if you didn't at least consider the possibility that the auction was for one chip, you are an accomplice to the crime.
