For the three years that I was a Prodigy@Speed reporter, all of our live auto racing reporting was exclusive to the Prodigy BB system. I received inquiries as to using this information on other online venues. After conferring with the Auto Racing BB Leader, we agreed to provide the information gathered by our reporters to other online venues on a delayed basis, and the receiving venues agreed to acknowledge the source of the information. The result was the Prodigy subscribers got the info live, and te other venues got it a couple days after it happened, but they also benefitted from in-depth reporting as opposed to just a column of names and numbers that were available from other sources.

The deal I have with Summit Racing's Fast News Network this year is different in several areas. It's a paid sponsorship for exclusive live coverage that includes not only the live posting to exclusive websites, but also sends summaries of the event info to anyone that wants it at the end of each day, provided they acknowledge the source. While one doesn't have to subscribe to any website that carries our exclusive reports, they have to go to our sponsors' sites to get it.

Perhaps you could consider reposting your articles here on a delayed basis. If any of your articles could be considered to be breaking news, that'd be a good reason to join us on Prodigy to read them when they happen. Reposting them here on a delayed basis would help spread info helpful to all chippers who don't subscribe to Prodigy for what ever reason.

It's your call, but I thought I'd let you know how some other "sensitive" or "exclusive" Prodigy reports have been handled in another hobby.
