The near riot we've had over Rene's T-shirt (Logogate) brings up a question that I'd appreciate some comments: How responsive must the Board be? The logo question is a fair question and let's assume that Rene formally put the question to President Sarles. Everyone agrees that the Board needs to answer the question. Some seem to feel that a 24 hour response is leisurely. In the more genteel times of two or three years ago, response times were weeks or months. The process of collecting opinions from the members of our volunteer Board takes time. We've seen one Board member quit when they felt "out of the decision loop." I'd like the people who accuse the Board of not being responsive to clearly state where and when the requirement of instant response was established. Thanks.
