Thanks for the added info on the Good Luck chip, Mel. I wonder if you know whether the Gun Club had a real casino at the location, or if they just had facilities for 'social games'; that is games incidental to the real activity of hunting and shooting competition. Since we don't seem to have any history of their chips, that might explain why. I can see a game room with tables, cards, chips etc. provided by Smith for the people who come to the club. What do you think?
I'll be researching the Smith family color slides and 16 mm movies that I got recently in Reno to see if there are any clues. I know there are some shots at the Gun Club.
