I am probably gonna make typos here because i am writing this while being mad and my brains thinks faster than i can type this.

Today i had dinner with Peter and Wendy Browse which i consider good friends now. Peter been in the casino industry since the 70's and maybe even longer. At one point he was even partners in a casino and he owned part of it. Now he has been collecting casino chips since the 70's also. He has a collection well over 2000 nevada chips alone. He joined the club about a year ago. I ask him why and he told me he never heard of a club. Now this sucks majorly.
You ask me why do i mention this. Well it seems our club is so arrogant we can not mention it now where without paying for it. I hate to tell you this but the club logo as what i was using it is worthless. Let me explain.

As you know i run http://www.vegaschips.com and published the Chipstar ( A book)
So just to add something new and different to my web site we offer a t-shirt.
on the back of the t-shirt i but the cover of my book plus my Web address.
on the front i but the slogan Proud to be a Chipper. and added a club logo which says proud member of the CC>CC and it has the logo and it says ask me for more information. Great i thought. I have many none club members buying merchandise from me. They might buy one and see that club info and join. Wanna know more about it. I might have someone but that is a member and a none member see it and asks him for more info. Do i get a thank you for offering the club free promotion. OH NO:

As far as I know there is still a club regulation that states NO ONE can use the club logo on anything that is being sold for profit. Rene, Did you get approval to do this from the club officers or did you just take it upon yourself to profit from use of the club logo? There has been several over the years that tried to make all kinds of things and put the club logo on them to be sold and they were always told to cease and desist immediately.

Of course no thank you, but i think this message is kinda hateful the way the words are being used. NO ONE cease and desist. I am german but i sure no what these words mean, and i have no problem with them.
Do you really think a person that will want to buy a t-shirt is gonna buy it only because it has the club logo on it. It was just free promotion for the club on it. Do you think i care if sell t-shirts, not at all. It was just another thing too offer my on my site. My site get's a lot of hits.

Now the club lost its chance. Tomorrow i will take of the club logo. And will but a arrowdie chip on the t-shirt. and it will read proud to be a chipper.

The problem with this club is all we do is find faults and complain. Its like some of you get High of that. Do you think i pay you all profits for promoting the club. Common wake up. All we do is complain and find bad things and act important. oh you break a club rule you mention us and make money no way.
The club should spend more time Thanking people for what the do for the club let me explain further.
Barry Weintraub and David Sarles and Nate Pincus i consider good friends of mein. I know all three from chip shows and talk to David very steadily. All three run very sucessful business. You guys know if someone mentions your business or does something great for your business you will send them a thank you note or even a x-mas basket little stuff like that.

Let me ask you this.
Did we thank these people for doing major contributions for the club in writing.

Fiesta for giving away FREE convetion chips every year.
Paul Son for sponsoring FREE Convention chips every year.
Gene Tremble for making all of those chips happen.
Steve Cutler for greating the Museum.
The Tropicana for housing the Museum.
The Flamingo Hilton for housing the museum for several years.
The Tropicana for donating items to the Club Auction.
The Fiesta for donating items to the club auction.
Steve wells and james campiglia for devoting a page of their book with club application.
Myself I devoted 2 pages in my book for the club application.

Do these people get thank you notes. Of course not.
And there are many more people i just forgot a lot.
Its not a big deal to get a thank u note from the club, but its a big deal to the person because it makes them feel good and they are more likely to do more stuff for the club.

I think this club could be a lot bigger if didn't have this problem.
What happening with my site now. No more club logo on the t-shirts.
No free advertising. Potential loss fo new members. Why should i mention the club all that can happen some people will complain. I am sick and tired of this club.

I think Janice and most people are nice. But some things are so dumb that they say. Let's just do this let no body mention the club for less than $500.
Let's keep this a secret. And u can check this every succesful organization let their logo been seen on every chance they get. Its word of mouth and the more you see it the better.

The club at the moment is nothing but frustrating me. I had a great evening.
I took pete and his wife to dinner then we went to play pai gow Lost only $7,
Got to spend time with my GF and i come home to this Bull#####. From now on i won't even attempt to do anything for the club anymore because its just a waste of time. I better off making my site better or watch a movie.

I am probably gonna run for club president next time we have elections and then i can make changes they way a succesful organization would.

I feel that if we keep this attitiude up than this club will never go anywere.
But than again i think a few of the people that have lots of influence at the moment want that. This way chip prices always stay low and it won't be too hard to get the chips they want.

I am sorry this post was so long but i am getting tired of these mind games.
