Paul,
I've been told that I stole the $25 Ore House chip by more than one collector due to the fact that I paid some cash and traded a rather rare token for it. He needed the token, which carries a low book value of $2500. I offered the token (a spare, I had three of them at one time, am down to one) and $500 for the chip that he had marked for $3000. He thanked me and I thanked him, both of us were happy for getting a good deal on something that filled a hole in our collections, and I paid for his table rental (if low book value on both the chip and the token are used for a comparison) for the convention.
Hang on to some of your older CA stuff. What you have in some cases is already worth more than you think it is.
Hope to see you during some football game, at the end of January!
Take good care my friend!
Bob
