Bob; This will be my last public response on this subject. I've emailed you inviting you to continue this diatribe against me privately... which you evidently have rejected. Now you want to continue stirring the pot. Once again, you are incorrect. Bob; for your information I never had anything to do with negotiating any contract with Orleans... never spoke to anyone in charge of anyone involved at Orleans in charge of any contract negotiations. The club was blessed with a very capable person in the name of Mike Skelton who did an admirable on the club's behalf. Your new subtle question posed that has some kind of ominous overtones that I rejected a three year deal at Orleans is completely unfounded ... from wherever source you got that information. I don't see where you are intending going with this new thread Bob... but I have no intention of following you there.
As for the convention flyers... which YOU brought up... not me.... Let me say once and for all and for the record.... YOU were the Publicity Chairman for the 1999 convention. The facts are that you were provided with materials and resources to promote the club's convention this year. Flyers were sent to you and to people in Las Vegas who offered to distribute them. YOU are the one who brought up the fact that you did not distribute some 3000 of them... not me.... but in the same breath it is YOU who says the club is wasting money. Bob, I only responded to what YOU brought up. I didn't say anything else about what kind of job you did as Convention Chairman... and I did not engage in name calling. I think this subject has been beaten to death. I'm not running for any office, so I'm not soliciting any votes and I don't think I want to get in any more negative non-productive issues. The election is over Bob. Resignations have occured to your dismay and mine. We can't turn back the clock. How about looking towards 2000 and putting a lot of the b.s. behind
us?
