The Hacienda Casino (old Gold Strike) between Boulder City and Hoover Dam is scheduled to open at 6 P.M. (PST) tomorrow night (11/11). They will have a Grand Opening $5 chip. When I walked through it today, the finishing touches were being put on everything. The pit has been completed, restaurants were being washed down, slots and poker machines were being activated and tested, fire detection and supression systems were being tested, employees were being trained, exterior signs were being erected, windows getting washed and parking lot paved. There sure was a lot of activity with over 300 craftsmen doing their thing. The casino is small but bright and airy.
