Larry; Here is my reprinted original response to your original question... to which I thought I had previously answered;
"The SASE was not my idea..... it came from an interested club member who made the suggestion..... for the very reason(s) you have cited.... that he didn't know what to nominate."
Here is your latest question to me:
"My question is WHY THE SASE? Please try to answer it without mentioning the cost of a mass mailing to the entire membership."
This is my candid reply:
Larry; As COTY/TOTY Chairman, I'm not accepting emails from people who like to play games on their computer and disguise their identity or misrepresent themselves as someone else. I'm not looking up addresses in the club directory to see who is a club member or not. I'm not accepting phone calls by those who wish to telephone me to express their interest in voting... or who want to chat. I'm not looking up into the sky everyday to see if there is a sky-writing message for me.
Larry; Every club member has three choices available.... and every member is going to play by the same rules.
1. Submit a nomination after the call for such is made in the next issue of the club magazine, or,
2. Send a SASE, or,
3. Don't participate.
There are no "second-class" club members as you have alluded in a previous post.
I can't make it any clearer than what I have outlined above. What is it that you don't understand? Do you have another unanswered question for me?
