No, Archie. You keep justifying the SASE with the expense of a full mailing to all 2500 members. Your reason for limiting the committee to those that nominate in the first place was because you saw no reason to incur the expense of mailing the ballots to 2500 members when only a small fraction would be interested.
You now allow members to express their interest in voting by a means other than nominating a chip. It seems to me that achieves the objective of not spending club money to mail ballots to members who are not interested.
My question is WHY THE SASE? Please try to answer it without mentioning the cost of a mass mailing to the entire membership.
